This first volume of the Ship Craft Series books covers the German Navy's Armored Ships, also known as "Pocket Battleships" of the Deutschland Class, which includes Deutschland (later re-named Lützow), Admiral Scheer, and the infamous Admiral Graf Spee. Packed within the 64 pages of this book are numerous black & white photographs with extensive captions, and a brief history of those warships.
This book also contains color computer rendered graphics of all the camouflage patterns, illustrating both port, starboard and overhead views. Extensive line drawings of all three warships are also included, showing many details. All plastic model kits are reviewed, as well as photo galleries of built up models of ships of this class are included in the 32 pages of full color within this book. This volume contains an extensive amount of information for the warship modeler interested in this class of German warship of the Second World War period. |
